the eyes have it

It's time for another confession, ya'll. Are you ready?
I don't like to edit my photos.
I think I just heard everyone gasp. Kidding, but it's true. Now, normally this wouldn't bother me, but it does, and here's why: I feel like I'm cheating my readers. I'm a person who takes a picture, and, if the lighting not good, delete and move around until I like what I see in the view finder. If it's still not what I want, I'll pretty much give up and take a picture of something else. But I never edit any of my pictures.
So, why am I saying this? Well, when I was taking my before and after pictures for my haircut post (coming soon!), I accidentally forgot it was zoomed in, and got a shot of my eyes. When I saw the picture, I snapped a couple more and didn't bother looking at them...until I uploaded them and saw that they were just okay. I gave myself a pep talk, not like the ones for my monthly makeover though, bit the bullet, and started editing. It felt great. So, what do you think? I'm not sure if I'll edit all my pictures; in fact, I know I won't. It's fine for someone who gets paid to take a nice shot, but for someone who just takes them for fun.
