ff challenge day 1

It's here, it's really here!! I'm so excited to be hosting this month's Challenge for Miss Jocelyn and I can't wait to see your pretty outfits I know you'll come up with! For those of you who are doing it for the first time, like I am, I'll explain how it works. For those of you who know all this technical stuff already, feel free to scroll down and look at my pictures for today!
The Challenge, simply put, is wearing skirts/dresses for a entire week and, if you chose, a different hairstyle each day also. Don't have seven different skirts? That's okay, I'm with you! Just mix and match different shirts. Easy, right? Grab your camera and post a picture or two on your blog, if you have one (it's NOT a requirement!!) and link up using the link provided in the bottom of my posts. If you still have some questions, go here and read up for some more info!
Alright, I think that covers it. On to the pictures of my outfit...
I roped Clark into taking the pictures today, and I must say, I hope he's not going to be a photographer, because he was all over the place.
This was my attempt at a full length shot...
And this was my artistic shot. Just trying to mix things up a little by sitting down.

Today was an at home kind of day, so no fancy dress or anything like that.
On to the specifics...
Top: A purple long-sleeved tee from Old Navy for about $4. A steal, I know. When Old Navy has a sale, they have a sale.
Skirt: An Emily original. Half my wardrobe is from her, and since we have similar taste in clothing, it's a win-win situation.
Jewelry: I purchased the necklace at our local mall and I can't recall the store's name, but they had a really great selection of jewelry. I think I paid $4 for it...
As you can see, I opted out of wearing tights today, simply because I didn't feel like it. Plus, it really wasn't that cold today, but I'll definitely be wearing some the rest of the week! It's supposed to snow...AGAIN. I really can't believe it.
Hair: I pulled back my bangs and used some bobby pins to keep them out of my face, since I had alot of reading for school to do.
Now it's time for me to see your outfits! Since I don't have a link up for this post (I've emailed Miss Jocelyn about it and, hopefully it will be up in time for tomorrow's post.), just leave a comment with your blog address or saying you're participating and I'll come on over and check it out.
