tunes volume 5

I have to admit...I don't like a lot of Christian music. Yep, I said it. Now, I don't hate all Christian music, but a lot of it tends to be sad. And this homegirl likes her some upbeat music. I prefer dance parties to the songs that make me cry because God loves me so much.

For this installment of what's on repeat in SA's brain today, it's all the amazing songs I came back from camp with...and they are some ridiculously GREAT songs. Word of Life knows how to lead a worship service, lemme tell ya. It was my favorite part of the day, to lift my arms up to Jesus and praise Him.

{1. Shine - MercyMe}
{2. Beautiful - Gungor}
{3. Good Morning - Mandisa ft. Toby Mac}
{4. The Remedy - David Crowder Band}
{5. We Shine - Fee}
{6. Higher - Gungor}
{7. O Happy Day - Steve Fee}
{8. Awake O'Sleeper - Whitestone}
{9. Supernatural - Planetshakers}
{10. God's Not Dead (Roaring like a Lion) - Newsboys}
{11. Live Like That - Sidewalk Prophets
{12. Jesus Freak - DC Talk}
{13. Overcome - Jeremy Camp}

So what are you waiting for? Go get your praise on!

  1. I LOVE Good Morning by Mandisa. :D I also like Live Like That and God's Not Dead. You should check out "Me Without You" by TobyMac--it's really upbeat. :)

    God bless you!

  6. AHHHH!!!!!!!! YOU AND ME ARE LIKE THE SAME!!! Seriously, I feel SO guilty sometimes, because I love me some upbeat pop music! Obviously not the bad stuff, but give me Call Me Maybe and Payphone {the clean version ;)} any day! Is it terrible that I like that more K-Love???
