adventures at CFA {volume 2}

My second home, it feels like.

Oooh boy. It's been a while since I've written about the priceless things that happen at while I'm clocked in at CFA (they mostly involve me messing up things that people have never messed up before)...and even when I'm not there (apparently someone who ::ahem:: had on no clothes came through the drive thru). Ah, the stories I have to tell when I get home...they have my family in stitches by the time I'm able to get them out in between fits of laughter.

You guys. I work at the best place ever. Sure, it's not perfect, but it is the best. I'd rather not work at all if I couldn't work at CFA. They put up with me and my questions and three different people gave me compliments one day. We joke around, tease each other, have nicknames for each other...my co-workers are the best. And it's not just what happens inside the store; it's what I do outside and in society that CFA has changed. I'm more outgoing, more willing & understanding to people and their situations in life. And, of course, I say my pleasure whenever I hold a door or stoop down to get something for a mom with three kids. I LOVE CHICK-FIL-A. End of story.

And I'm not the only one who loves it...there was this little (biggest understatement of the year) thing that happened at Chick-Fil-A's across the nation called CFA Appreciation Day. I just happened to be scheduled to work that day and I'm still recovering. We had twice as many people staffed than normal, and it was the perfect amount of people. We couldn't have prepared better (even the owner said so) and I was so proud to be a part of it all. Thank you to all the customers that waited 45 minutes in line, and then another 45 minutes or so for their name to be called out, telling them their beloved nuggets were ready. It really showed their support to have them wait SO long just for a number 1 combo.

So that's what been going on at CFA in Winterville, where I spent my summer and will gladly spend my fall and winter and spring and summer and rinse and repeat.
