summmer with a purpose: week 5

Can you believe that summer is pretty much halfway over?! No more reading by the pool, drinking a Dr. Pepper and watching Clark and Dad swim. No more sleeping in and reading in my bed before I even make eye contact with another human being. No more blogging without having to wait until I finish school...at 5:30 at night. Man, seems like my summer revolves around reading and blogging! There's not a better combo than that. :)

So what have I been doing this week, besides reading and blogging? Well, I've...

• Worked on my CBS coloring sheets some more. Granted, there are still 50 million of them, but each one do is one less I don't have to do while I'm there so I can be in a core group! Score.
• Baby-sat some. Sure, I didn't get paid for half of it, but at least I'm keeping busy. Now, if I can find some more jobs, I'll be good to go. 
• Remember the last FF Challenge? I have a grand total of two dresses that I hadn't worn for it, and I knew that wouldn't work, so when Clark was looking at bathing suits, I wandered over to the clearance rack at, where else other than Target. Ten dollars later, I walked out with two sundresses. Um, awesome!
• While I did do some little jobs, along with my chores, I also did some pretty big projects that were on my SWAP list. Like what? Well, I got some pictures developed with my 75 free prints that came with my new camera. Long story short, the lady at the photo center gave us another coupon to get some more prints since we misunderstood the regulations. 

Also, I made a photo wall! I'm so proud of it, and since Sam helped me, make sure to give her a virtual pat on the back. Want to see? Of course you do!

Seems like I heart Faces is having trouble with downloading pictures, but it doesn't seem it effect anyone else. So, with that being said, I'm afraid that it will just have to be on another week hiatus. I'm not tech-savvy, so if you're wondering why...that's it. HTML boggles my mind for some reason, and I usually turn to Emmylou for help. Yes, I know HTML doesn't haven't a thing to do with downloading, but I had to convey my lack of understanding about tech things some way!

Wow, that was a long explanation. I'm a very wordy person, in case you haven't figured that out yet. On to the FRFF, shall we?

"Shav {Cake Smash} by Emily Joy. Um, Davene? You letting Emily take pictures of Shav getting all down and dirty with the cake is awesome. You've just gotten a million times cooler...in my eyes, at least. You too, Emily!

"Gussy's Going On An Adventure" by Maggie. Pictures taken with your computer are almost as cool as the ones you take with your fancy camera. Almost.

Heard this song on the way home yesterday and remembered why Brandon Heath is one of my favorite Christian singers. Actually, it might have been when I heard "Wait and See" or "I'm Not Who I Was", but I'm not telling! almost wordless wednesday: me and my bro

Some pictures Dad snapped on the last day of the Challenge were just too good to stay on the computer, locked away in the picture files, so on the blog they go! Can you see the family resemblance? Really, it's not hard...

A typical Clark face, along with a typical face I make at Clark often. He's so annoying it's funny, most of the time. Sometimes it's just plain annoying.

What a jump shot, SA! Clark's arm is in it, so I'm not breaking my own rules or anything, just bending them a little. Besides, it's a great jump shot. Wait? I already said that? My bad.

And this is how the photo shoot ended. Me shaking my head and Clark acting all cool and tough guy. With his fishing glasses, no less. He's not even a fisherman; he threw up the whole time he went last summer. Poor guy...

Look for the second part of the 4th weekend tomorrow, okay? I've already got one person waiting. Yes, I'm looking at you, Emily! :)

It's time for a bloggy update, know? I can't even remember the last time...
If I may direct your attention over to my sidebar, you can see that there are quite a few changes over there. Whoa, SA, cut the flight attendant voice because you're scaring away followers. My bad, followers. First off, and the most important to me, is a little poll. You all know how much I love blog-about-this-on-this-day stuff, but I just now realized how little blogging about my life I really do. So, in order to involve you readers in the decision, I made a little poll.
