it's a whole new world...

The Aladdin theme song comes to my mind when I think about the blogging world. And it is a whole new world, one that I can't wait to become a part of!

I've always wanted a blog, pretty much since I found out that my amazing bestie, Emily, had started one in January of '08. The desperate pleas to my parents for a blog were still going strong after almost two years, until Facebook and Twitter entered the picture. Bye-bye blogging, hello social networking! Unfortunately, my parents answer to that was a firm "NO!". Fast forward a couple months and here we are. Even though I still want Facebook and Twitter, having a blog is a step in the right direction, don't you think?

Alright, now that we've covered my non-blogging history, let's move on to intro part...

My name is Sarah-Anne. Yes, it's my full first name, and yes, "sarah" is spelled with an "h" and "anne" is spelled with an "e" on the end. And there's also a hyphen in between "sarah" and "anne". Just thought I'd clear that up for you. Some people call me SA; you're free to call me either one. I think I've said all that can possibly be said about my name. Moving on.

I'm fourteen, a homeschooled freshman here at SC Academy, and I'm just now realizing that the days of being done with school at noon are long gone; now I'm lucky if I get done by four!!

A few of my favorite things are CBS (community bible study; take note because I'm sure I'll write about it alot!), seeing the kids there smile and laugh at me, and just being a teenager with lots of great people to hang out with!

I hope you've enjoyed learning a little bit about me and that you'll stop back by again!

  1. Hey Sarah-Anne!

That was a 5 star post. Good job and welcome to the blogging world. :)

    Love you!

P.S. I got your message yesterday and I'll try to call you today or the first of the week. :)

  2. Hi, Sarah-Anne!

Welcome to blogging! I hope you have a lot of fun with this.

It's great to learn a little more about you!

In response to your question about posting the Name That Christmas-time Tune game... you sure can! I actually tried to leave a comment for you a few days ago about that, but I was having computer problems and obviously the comment didn't really get left for you because it's not here now! So I'm sorry I didn't get back to you promptly; but if you're still so inclined, you may certainly post that game here.

    Have a great weekend!

  3. Thanks for the welcome, Emily and Davene!! Clearly I need to get my priorities straight and post more often; I just now realized that I haven't posted at all in December. So sad...
Davene, thanks for letting me post the game. I'm having trouble copying and pasting it, though, and I really haven't had the time to tpye it out. I'm getting ready to try it again. Even though it's four days 'til Christmas.
