authenic people {blog party}

You could interpret my choice to post yet another blog party {my such and such, in fact} many different ways. 1. I'm a sucker for blog parties. and 2. I'm a lazy blogger and like the "pre-made" blog posts that blog parties provide. And...yeah, that's it. Both choices are true, BTW.

Wanna join me in my laziness? Then head on over to Abigail's blog, read up on the rules, and link up to win some sweet prizes!

"Hiya! The name's Sarah-Anne, but some people call me SA...mostly because it's all around easy to say & remember. You're free to do whatever. I'm a homeschooled high school junior {say wha?!} at SC Academy, and love to take pictures of things that make me happy. Blogging is fun too! Stay awhile will ya?"
1} What's the nerdiest/geekiest/weirdest thing about you?
It's no secret that I love Doctor Who, I'm a new Hunger Games addict, and I'm not grossed out by flesh-eating beetles like the ones on Bones. Yeah, I let my inner nerd shine all the time, no exceptions. As for weirdness, I'm so organized that both my closet & drawers are color coordinated.
2} If you could live in a fictional universe from any book, movie, or television show, what would it be?
Dude, that's hard. CHUCK has my heart, so I'd have to say it would be pretty darn cool live in Cali & be a spy.
3} Little or big, practical or frivolous, what is one of your favorite items in your house?
Our blankets. We live in a reaaalllyyy drafty & cold house so we have about 5 blankets in the living room to curl up with on cold nights.
4} Do you like animated movies? If so, what is your favorite?
Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and Toy Story 3 have my heart.
5} What is your favorite household chore?
Laundry. Something about separating the loads by color and getting them all folded nice is soothing.
6} What's your favorite thing to get at Starbucks (or your favorite coffee shop)?
No secret on this: I love <3 a good Pumpkin Spice Latte.
7} What is your favorite pizza topping?
Supreme without mushrooms or onions, pleaseandthankyou.
8} Waffles or pancakes?
Dad's pumpkin pancakes are amazing, but waffles are so few & far between that I'd take them over a pancake. Sorry, Dad.
9} Do you like to play games? If so, what is your favorite?
Yes, I play board games and physical games, but I love a good game of football.
10} Have you ever let anyone win a game?
Oh probably. But usually only if it's a little kiddo I'm playing against.
11} Have you ever dyed your hair?
Nooo. And I never plan too.
12} Do you make your bed every morning?
Yes. Another weird & obsessive thing about me.
13} Picasso or Norman Rockwell?
Dude, I'm NOT a art person so I could not tell you the difference.
14} Do you like carpet, tile, or hardwood floors?
Hardwood floors! I love carpet too but our 70's blue and maroon carpet give me nightmares.
15} If you could put one thing in a safe under your bed, what would it be?
Myself. Also, my box of treasures, the book I'm currently reading, and my camera, but that's 4 things.
16} What's your favorite condiment?
Mayo! Love the stuff.
17} Have you ever thrown up on someone (excluding when you were a child)?
Yes, my mom {but who hasn't?} I also manage to throw up on MYSELF from time to time if I'm just so exhausted from puking for 12 hours straight. True story.
18} What was the last thing that made you laugh?
A text from Jack. Or maybe it was his bro Sam...it's hard to tell who's who when they take turns trying to confuse me.
19} Think fast...what's the first song that pops into your head?
I always have a song playing in my head, so that's not really a fair question to ask me. BUT! Jar of Hearts has a special place in my ::ahem:: heart.

What are you waiting for?! Go link up with Abigail already!

A to Z: all about me

Fine, I'll admit it...I have a problem with blog parties, but this one has been floating around the blogosphere & I just had to join in!

Age? Sweet sixteen, baby!
Bed Size? Twin. & currently in the market for a new one ::hint hint to the parents:: ;)
Chore that you hate? Washing dishes that have crusty food on them. For serious, I can't stand it.
Dogs? My dad's side of the family will hate me for this, but I'm a cat person. No smelly dogs for me, pleaseandthankyou!
Essential way to start the day? Wake up time in my bed. I rarely roll outta bed with a smile on my face so it's best not to talk to me for a minimum of 30 mins...unless you have food then I'm game.
Favorite Color? Purple, in case you couldn't tell. Purple blog, purple room, purple & gold things everywhere in my closet as well.
Gold or Silver? Hate to be hatin' on the older generation, but gold seems outdated to me so I'm gonna go with silver!
Height? 5 '1? Maybe? I"m a shorty so I don't really measure myself that often.
Instruments you play? I used to play the piano but homegirl ain't musically gifted...and I'm quite sad about that. :(
Job title? Full time high school student; I'll do toe-to-toe with the first person who tells me
Kids? Um, none at the moment.
Live...? Ohhh...sneaky. Totally not telling all the Internet weirdos where I live, but I will say this: I live in a place that only the locals would know.
Mother's name? Melanie.
Nickname? SA, Sassy {what Clark used to call me when he was little}, tiny & all of the little person jokes nicknames you can think of.
Overnight hospital stays? Once when I was little, I believe.
Pet peeves? Blogs that make every day sounds like a walk in the park. Let's be real, people! Oh, and chewing gum; can't stand that either.
Quote from a movie? Marty: "Oh, this is heavy." Doc: "Heavy, heavy...There's that word again! Tell me, is there something wrong with the earth gravitational field in the future?" Back to the Future, baby. Respect the classics.
Right or left handed? Righty!
Siblings? One little bro, Clark.
Underwear? Um, yes. How do people NOT wear them?!
Vegetables you hate? Eggplant & mushrooms. One's bitter and one's rubbery; yuck!
What makes you late? The computer, chores, other people that aren't ready to go...take your pick.
Xrays you've had? None.
Yummy food you make? Pumpkin cookies...if there is one thing I want to be remembered by, it's my pumpkin cookies.
Zoo animals? Elephants, giraffes, otters, and lions {duh!}. Although I've never been to a zoo before

So what do you think, readers? Was that fun or just enough about random things about me? If you'd like to participate  link up in the comments so I can read your ABC's post, please!!

7 things about me {blog party}

I was inspired by my new blogging friend Erika from the Etsy shop Rouge & Whimsy  {along with the original  to, once again, bombard me readers with random get-to-know-me questions in hopes of when, someday in the future, I met a blogging friend we'll already know each other because of these types of blog posts. Am I the only one whose goal is the same when we do these blog parties? No? All right then, moving on...

7 Places I Would Like to Visit
1. Africa -- As always, it's the first on my list; I can't wait to go {Lord willing}!!
2. Ireland -- I'm a 4th generation Irishman {woman?} so that's a duh.
3. Czech Republic -- I'm also a third generation Czechoslovakian as well; Can you tell I want to go to my family's birth places?
4. Paris -- just because I want to say I've been there...and because I want to take a picture of the Eiffel tower at night.

5. All 50 states would be pretty nice. I feel a RV trip coming on in my retirement years; who's with me?
6. A handmade market, like Creative Estates or Queen Bee Market. I could do some serious damage to my non-existent bank account.
7. The beach -- such a lame answer but I love <3 the beach like whoa.

7 Things I Would Like to Make
1. This camera strap {which I can't find a link for, grrr}...

2. ...along with this flat iron cover from the same person, my blogging role model Raechel. She's crafty beyond belief. I've also got a person in mind I'm gonna make this for ::hint hint:: ;)
3. This AWESOME canvas by Lindsey -- so fun & customizable!
4. This Gussy organizer -- I'm forever making little to-do lists for post ideas & I'd love to have them all in one place to reference.
5. A driftwood star -- Lindsey's done it again with another great idea; what a good idea for all that driftwood you collect on summer vacays
6. Crayon art -- First saw this on Pinterest & fell in love; a great way to use up old crayon bits.
7. Ruffled Scarf tutorial -- I've looked at this tutorial for a year now trying to get up the courage to use elastic thread & jersey material. So far I'm thisclose to doing it...

7 People I'd Like to Meet (Dead or Alive)

All my blog readers would HAVE to fill up this; I'm pretty sure that I would DIE if I meet Raechel, Keight, Davene, Emily Joy,  Ruthanne, Gussy or Ilene...just to name a few Or, to be exact, 7! I totes didn't plan that one; I'm not that clever.

7 Things I Would Like to Own
1. A summer house...on the beach, of course!

2. A Ford. Preferably an Escape or an Explorer but any Ford will do!3. My own business -- a coffee shop or handmade biz maybe? I'm not crafty but I want to be one of the cool people that has their own booming business at home.
4. An upgraded camera -- Maybe a Ti or anything with a D after it? But first I must

5. A regular house & all I need to decorate it with aka money
6. A unlimited gift card to Target & Old navy because I need some jeans like WHOA for the Fall.
7. Season tickets to ECU games -- something I'm looking forward to when I go to ECU is going to be able to go to games each weekend.

7 Things That Annoy Me

1. Blogger's that make everything sound like rainbows & unicorns & Skittles. -- Homegirl knows that people want to be uplifting but sometimes you get to feeling down when you read all about their "perfect" life. But! That's a whole 'nother post, friend.
2. People chewing gum; it's gross & unhuman to me.
3. Cursing in books & film -- It's one thing to curse out loud, but in a book?! Really, come on.
4. Textures -- Velvet creeps me out & I can't touch anything slick...Sand bugs me & I can't stand anything sticky on my hands.
5. Loud things -- Yelling & the TV turned up wayyy loud bug me so bad.
6. In relation to #5, people that can't hear -- I hate saying everything 2 or 3 times.
7. The Internet not working. We have people on the moon but can't have Internet sometime?! I thought we were better than that.

7 Films I Love
1. Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs
2. Iron Man 1 and 2
3. Tangled
4. The Spiderman Trilogy -- that's where my nickname SA came from {from Peter calling Mary Jane "MJ" all the time, thankyouverymuch}
5. Back to the Future trilogy
6. Day After Tomorrow
7. National Treasure 1 and 2

7 Funny Words

1. Peeps
2. Any coffee related word - I feel so stupid saying it because I'm deathly afraid of being laughed at because I said something a funny way. Plus, they're just weird words.
3. Thug {and on that note...Gangster is pretty funny too}
4. Precocious
5. Surprise {for the record, I LOVE <3 surprises I just can't spell it. that "r" throws me off.}
6. Schedule {again, the "c" and the "h" throw me off!}
