conner's birthday party 4.7

Second party of the weekend, ya'll! Even though Conner turned 16 three weeks ago, Kaley and I and a couple others pressured him into having a 16th birthday party. It didn't work out until now, but it was so much fun!

The volleyball net was out and it was ON. I watched because I had already been hit in the head with a ball that day.

Kaley sat with me on the bleachers and I was totally envy of her cowboy boots.
Totally envy worthy...so prettyyy.

Father and son.

I have some of the most good-looking friends, ya'll. And I'm not just talking about the girls...my guy friends are pretty dang handsome. They are a catch. Evidence below...

Erika! And Jack doing whatever in the background.

Erika and Grace BFFs.

Kaley.
Abbey and Bekah...sistahs!

Rachieee!

Grace.

It's ok to be jealous of my beatiful friends.

So many things about this picture...Dylan texting. Whatever Jack's doing. OK, only two things.

FUD! Photo by Grace.

Cutie! Photo by Grace.

Jack is a camera stealer...and a photo bomber from the above pictures. All photos by Grace...the camera stealing runs in the family ;)

Niceee.

We all piled around the iPod at one point wanting to choose the music.
Erika and Bekah. BFFs as well.

Sister secrets.

Abbey's Nikon was by her side as well!

The wicked knife contradicts the pink iPod. It's Hannah's BTW.

Quick break for presents!

After presents and cake we just hung around and enjoyed each others company until the end. Oh and compared purity rings...Hannah got to hold them all and I had to get a picture of the 10 rings.

Sam's back and Rachel.

The dude with glasses and the girl with the flower in her hair.

Conner brought his guitar and I love to hear him play and sing. He's great at it, ya'll. Serious talent right there.

Funny story: I look up from behind the bleachers and Jack & Clark have become best buds and were bird calling. In the Landmark gym. Hilarious. And then what Jack's looking at is Clark's handiwork...he got a ball stuck in the beam of the ceiling.

Feet.

We ended the night playing Ninja and watching the men be studs and right to carry more chairs than teh previous (we helped Conner set up for breakfast the next morning.

Thanks for inviting us Conner...I hope you felt loved by all who came!

Clark-isms

Ya'll. This kid. He turns 13 and a half today. Yep, he's growing up ::sniff sniff:: He keeps us in stitches all day every day, but here lately he has been saying the funniest things. Here's only a few of them...

The scene: I'm driving, and he's on the phone with Mom. We forgot the list so we have to turn around, and Clark says oh so calmly "Don't worry Sarah-Anne, all ya gotta do it a U-ie." I was laughing so hard I had to calm myself down and keep the car on the road.

The scene: I'm upstairs cleaning with the radio blaring, and I was waiting out a Lady Gaga song (which happened to be Poker Face). Out into the hallway I go, to see Clark pointing a Nerf Gun at me and he said "You know, one day I'm going to make up a song called Checker Expressions."

The scene: Kaley, Clark, and I were talking about One Direction (I KNOW) and how one of them is named Zayn and they're British. Clark said "Zayn sounds like a ninja. 'Hello, I'm a British ninja...would you like one lump or two?! Hiyahh!'" It was just as funny as it sounds.

I love my brother.

almost wordless wednesday {afternoon with friends}

thehea

Emily, Andrew, and Rebecca came over for hang for the later part of the afternoon. I don't think I've laughed that hard in a while. Fun fact: when I really laugh, I don't make a sound. I just hold my stomach and occasionally snort then laugh even harder since I snorted. I did that the majority of the time my friends were over.

Pea ess, are my friends not the most gorgeous people you've ever seen?!

And, before you think we're all normal, take a look at the evidence below...

Becca stole my camera and took those priceless pictures...
Me: "High five Justin Bieber Bear!" (I'm NOT a Bieber fan. It's a joke gift from Hannah.)

Emily: "This girl we call SA is CRAZY. And I don't know what to do with her." Me: ::thinks:: Pretend to look confused but end up looking constipated. Yeah, that's a good look to go for..."

Me: "Let's do this."
See?! Lots of laughter...

Telling ghost stories...in the middle of the day with a flashlight.

Emily demonstrating how RDAWG holds the camera...

Becca grabbed my camera again. You never know when she's gonna strike.

Me: "Look constipated again but give the thumbs up sign for everyone to know you're OK. Emily: "HELP ME."

Me: "Be a model, be a model..." Emily: "Yeah, it's NOT working for ya girl."

Not pictured: bocce ball in gale force winds and eating pizza while watching Little House. Good times! Thanks for coming over Emily, Andrew, and Becca!
