Apparently I'm smart or something.
I had no clue I was even elegible for this but hey! I'm kinda proud of myself. All the blood, sweat, and tears (yes, there was all of that and lots of it) during high school paid off.
It was a nice little ceremony and then the family took me out for Mellow Mushroom & Sweet Frog's. Nothing like good food to celebrate being a nerd.
Pea ess: I want to put a little disclaimer with this post because honestly guys, I'm so honored to be a part of this Honor's Society. I don't want it to seem like I'm being flippant about this huge accomplishment. I'm just trying to bring some humor into this daunting chapter (see what I did there?) of my life.
Really, it's for my own sake because believe me, I freak out about it more than I verbalize. but God's got this. It's all in His plan for this homeschooled senior, a plan that encompasses ALL areas of my life, including academics, something that I've always viewed as something entirely up to me. Not anymore, cause He knows He's the one that made the committee pick a little girl like me for the honor of being inducted and gave me the smarts to be considered in the first place.
God makes ya smart, folks. It's a fact.
